摘要
语言与文化有着非常紧密关系,英语教学的一个重要目标就是培养学生的交际能力,尤其是跨文化交际能力。大学英语课堂教学中的文化教学还没有得到应有的重视。教师和学生都需要转变对文化教学的观念和态度,积极研究英语教学中的文化因素和跨文化问题。应该通过多种途径、采取不同方法,在大学英语课堂教学中开展文化教学,以增强英语教学的效果。
Language and culture are closely interrelated. One of the main objectives of English language teaching is to cultivate and develop the communicative competence of students, especially the cross-cultural communicative competence. The teaching of culture in college English classroom has not received much deserved attention. Both teachers and students should change their attitude towards the teaching of culture and examine the cultural factors and cross-cultural issues in English language teaching and learning. It is suggested that various methods be used in the teaching of culture in order to improve the effectiveness of English language teaching.
