Arecent study by geoscientists from US and China .might add new dimensionsto the understandings of the development of the earth＇s earliest yet animals. In an article entitled Rare helical spheroidal fossils from the Doushantuo Lagerstatte： Ediacaran animal embryos come of age？ the scientists believed that they have discovered the missing link between embryos of the animals and their adult form.
