摘要
介绍了在CAD领域基于B-Rep模型的特征识别方法,总结了其中的优势和不足,并且对直接从三维散乱点云中识别加工特征的关键技术进行了研究,提出了可能的解决方案。进一步讨论了如何将CAD领域中基于B-Rep模型的算法运用到基于点云的特征识别中,为解决逆向工程中加工特征识别的问题提供新的思路。
Reverse engineering (RE) is used to establish computer aided design (CAD) models from the scanned data of an existing part acquired by 3D position scanners. The feature technology is important to the integration of CAD/CAD systems. How to efficiently communicate among different CAX systems is one of the most important issues of product lifecycle modeling. In the industrial field, feature recognition is the key technology to solve the problem. A methodology for extracting geometric features directly from a set of 3D scanned points and a survey of feature recognition based on CAD models are presented. Finally, How to introduce some sophistical algorithms in CAD - based feature recognition is discussed and a new thinking is provided to recognize manufacturing feature based on the scanned data.
