摘要
空间索引的目的是为了在地理信息系统中快速定位到所选中的地理对象,从而提高空间操作的速度和效率。空间索引技术的优劣直接影响GIS的整体性能,因而它是GIS的一项关键技术。对常用的几种不同类型的栅格数据的空间索引分别进行了阐述,并比较了其优缺点和应用范围。
The goal of the spatial index is to locate the choused geography objects as quickly as possible in the Geographic Information System, so as to improve the speed and efficiency of the spatial operations. The quality of the spatial index technology can directly influence the overall ability of the system; it' s a key technology of the GIS. This article made a detail description of three kinds of spatial index, and compared some advantage and disadvantage among them.
