Recernt Developments of Liquid Crystalline Cellulose and Cellulose Derivatives

摘要 本文讨论了纤维素及其衍生物形成液晶态的准则,综述了它们的溶致和热致液晶性能、流变性能、成型加工特性及纤维和薄膜的结构与力学性能,指出了进一步的研究方向。 The criteria for cellulose and its derivatives to form a liquid crystalline (LC) phase are discussed. Both lyotropic and thermotropic LC properties are reviewed. The rheological properties, formation and processing of LC cellulose and its derivatives are introduced. Fibrillar and banded structure are observed for the fibres and films which have medium mechanical prope-rties, The understanding of cholesteric-nematic phase transition has not been completely explained. Future research activity on LC eellulose and its deriva-tives is,mentioned in this article.
