陈嘉庚在其奋斗的一生中形成了一系列优秀品质和伟大精神。学习和弘扬陈嘉庚精神,对引导当代大学生树立忠诚爱国的政治信念、恪守诚实守信的处事原则、塑造坚强勇毅的个人品质、培养艰苦朴素的生活作风以及发扬与时偕行的创新精神等,具有宝贵的示范与教育意义。在进行社会主义荣辱观教育的今天,弘扬陈嘉庚精神契合了时代发展对大学生提出的新要求。
Learning and spreading Tan Kah - kee＇s great spirit and personality is of instructive significance in guiding current university students to build up the political belief of loyalty and patriotism, to stick to the principle of sincerity, to shape a strong character, and to cultivate their perseverance and creativity. Spreading Tan Kah -kee spirit is the new demand to university students by the era with the popularity of socialist honor or disgrace education.
