THE CHARACTERIZATION OF α AND γ CRYSTAL FORM CONTENTS IN NYLON6 BY X-RAY DIFFRACTION AND IR

摘要 聚酰胺6的晶体,由于其晶胞中相邻大分子间不同的氢键组合,产生了不同的晶形。不同晶型的形成,有赖于加工成型条件。我们用溶液法制备了聚酰胺6的α晶体标样,经I_2/KI处理制得γ晶体标样。本文用X-射线衍射法和红外光谱法测定了国产聚酰胺6综丝的α、γ晶型的百分含量。 Due to adjacent macromolecular hydrogen bonds arranging in group differentially in unit cell, Nylon 6 can exist in either of two stable crystal structures the a-form with hydrogen bonds between antiparalled chains, or the γ-form with hydrogen bonds between parallel chains. The polymer should not be regarded as a pure compound but a multicompo-nent mixture, depending on processing conditions.In this paper, we will present the characterization of α and γ crystal form contents in Nylon 6 by X-ray diffraction and IR.We got sample of perfect a-form by using the solution of Nylon 6 to cast film and to be heat treated in vacuum, and sample of perfect γ-form by treating sample in I2/KI solution.
