本文根据２１世纪社会发展特点，重点探讨了世界高等图书情报教育在教育目标、模式、课程设置、教学模式、教育手段。
This article discusses the educational objectives and system of library and information science education at institution of higher learning based on the trend of development of the social characteristics of the 21st Century. It also probes the trend in curiculum development, teaching menthods, as well as school system and administrative system in library and information science education in the 21st Century.
