Scheduling Algorithm of Advisedly Dropping Packets Based on VoIP Queues

摘要 讨论了网络拥塞对VoIP应用的影响,基于VoIP应用的特征,提出了一种新的适应于VoIP队列的主动丢包的调度算法——VASA算法。结合VASA和RED算法可实现新的VoIP队列管理和调度模式,从而可以有效改善网络拥塞状态下语音包转发的性能。 The effect of network congestion on VoIP application is discussed, According to the feature of VoIP application, a new scheduling algorithm VASA which is fit for dropping packets of VoIP queues is put forward. Combined the VASA algorithm with RED algorithm, VoIP queues management and scheduling model can be realized, and the performance of the speech package transmission in the case of network congestion is improved.
