摘要
我国的中药材是一个具有数千年历史的医药宝库,至今仍在中国和许多国家和地区广为使用。传统药材中,80%为野生资源,但由于盲目挖掘,不仅使野生资源日益减少,而且严重破坏了自然界的生态平衡;人工种植又面临品质退化,农药污染和种子带病等问题。而且,人工种植的药材,活性成分的种类和数量往往因地区及气候不同而异,给品质控制带来许多困难。这些问题。
Plant biotechnology must be wide exploited in the production of traditional medici- nal plants because of the progressive exhaustion of wild resources and the unstable quality of arti- ficial cultispecies. Progresses and potentials of the culture of plant cells,genetically transformed organs and plantlets,biotransformation as well as genetic engineering applied in the production of traditional drugs are reviewed.Large-scale production of some medicinal plant cells such as Lithospermum erythrorhizon and hairy roots such as gingseng are realized via the selection of high-yielding cell line,the optimization of culture condition and the design of appropriate fermenter.Biotransfor- mation of β-methyldigitoxin to β-methyldigoxin by Digitalis.lanata cells was studied and evaluat- ed for commercialization.The content of some secondary metabolites such as scopolamine is in- creased via genetic engineering of key enzyme.In particular,the production of some proteins de- rived from bacteria,animal and human via the transgenic plants as a bioreactor is researched.Fi- nally,some results obtained in our laboratory is also concerned.
