摘要
英语语调是口语交流中有效信息的传递手段,因此,也成了译员在源语输入和译语输出过程中优先考虑的重要语言外信息之一。正确把握语调功能能帮助译员对译的准确、话轮的掌控和语域的选择。
Intonation works as an effective means in conveying messages in oral interaction, so it constitutes one of the paralanguage elements of prior consideration both in the understanding and delivery of messages in interpretation. An overall manipulation of the functions of intonation by the interpreter will thus help to achieve the accurate two-way interpreting, turn-taking and register in interpretation discourse.
