摘要
党的十六届四中全会在《关于加强党的执政能力建设的决定》中正式提出的建设社会主义“和谐社会”的理念,已成为我国社会发展的主旋律。在构建社会主义和谐社会的大背景下,广播电视大学既是社会和谐、教育和谐的重要组成部分,又是维护教育公平、促进经济发展、推动社会进步、促进人类文明的重要手段。审视新形势下广播电视大学的自身优势和所面临的挑战,探讨其在构建和谐社会中的作用,对于构建和谐社会具有重要的理论和现实意义。
The concept＂harmonious society＂is officially stated in the Fourth Plenary Session of 16th CPC Central Committee in China and it has become the main melody of Chinese social development. Under the background of harmonious society construction, Radio ＆ TV University not only plays an important part in social and educational harmony, but also significantly maintains fairness in education as well as promotes economy development and society progress and speeds the human civilization. The discussion and exploration of RTVU＇ s role benefit both theory and practice in eenstruction of socialism harmonious society.
