摘要 目前的研究均支持炎症在冠状动脉粥样硬化性疾病中具有举足轻重的地位,炎症细胞与血管内环境中的细胞、细胞因子、炎症介质等的相互作用极其复杂,作为中性粒细胞活化标志物的髓过氧化物酶已被发现能参与冠状动脉粥样硬化的全过程,揭示粥样斑块的早期改变,为临床的早期诊断及治疗指出了新的方向。 Recent research has shown that inflammation plays a key role in coronary artery disease(CAD) and other manifestations of atherosclerosis. Immune cells dominate early atherosclerotic lesions, their effector molecules accelerate progression of the lesions, and activation of inflammation can elicit acute coronary syndromes. Myeloperoxidase(MPO), an abundant leukocyte enzyme, is elevated in culprit lesions that have fissured or ruptured in patients with sudden death from cardiac causes. Numerous lines of evidence suggest mechanistic links between myeloperoxidase and both inflammation and cardiovascular disease. This review highlights the role of MPO in the pathogencsis of atherosclerotic CAD, and tries to find the further clinical application in coro- nary atherosclerosis.
