事故的发生．是所有导致事故的因素都不可遏止地产生7作用后．最终呈现出的恶劣后果。事故的报告与调查处理．其意义远远不在于亡羊补牢．从更大的范围来说．对待每一起事故的态度．都影响着我们未来工作的开端。
On May 10,SAWS and Ministry of Supervision jointly held a press con- ference and briefly introduced to the press on the handling of five grave accidents.This press conference was participated by domestic and international correspondents from Xinhua News Agency,People's Daily,CCTV,the Associated Press, etc.According to the briefing,these five accidents have caused the death of 249 people and a director eco- nomic loss of 95.137 million Yuan. During the press conference,Minis- ter Li Yizhong also talked about the main contents of the Regulations.He also pointed out that relevant orga- nizations should speed up their ef- forts to formulate supporting rules and methods. When the Regulations are implemented,“Provisional Regula- tion on the Procedure of Major Acci- dent Investigation”(Decree No.34) and“Regulations on Reporting and Handling Fatal Accidents of Workers and Employees in Enterprises”(Decree No.75)will be abolished at the same time.
