摘要
OSD是一种广泛应用于各种视频系统的在屏显示技术。以数字硬盘录像机(DVR)为例,简单介绍了基于视频处理芯片TW2824的DVR系统总体结构,详细讨论了利用TW2824实现的OSD字符存储、显示与控制技术。通过将GUI界面划分为单元格,克服了TW2824芯片的OSD只能显示字符和数字的限制,为用户提供了功能丰富的GUI界面。
On screen display （OSD） is a widely used technology in video systems, such as digital video recorder （DVR）. Firstly, the architecture of DVR based on the video QUAD/MUX controller, TW2824, is introduced. Secondly, the realization about the character storage and display is presented by the TW2824 in detail. Due to the limitations that the OSD of the TW2824 only displays the text character, the flexibility and powerful functionality of GUI is realized by integrating the respective tables into the whole screen of the GUI.
