摘要
本文基于体积函数法,研究开发了模拟铸造三维流动和传热过程的数值计算程序。并针对实例,分析和比较了不同形式浇注系统所引起的流动模式。金属流动的模拟结果与铝合金铸件的实验结果吻合,表明优良的浇注系统可形成理想的充填模式和温度分布,避免某些铸造缺陷。
Based on volume function method,a numerical calculation program for simulating 3 D fluid flow and heat transfer was developed.The flow patterns resulted from different types of gating system are analyzed and compared also.The computer simulations of flow in mold cavity are in good agreement with real aluminium alloy casting production.Both of test and numerical investigation showed that,when the liquid metal passes through a well designed gating system,ideal filling pattern and temperature distribution can be achieved,preventing some defects of catings.
