摘要
系统研究了在铁黄(α-FeOOH)表面包敷硅对制备针形α-Fe磁记录粉性能的影响.结果表明,硅虽可改善耐烧结性,使磁粉针形好,晶粒细小,具有较高的矫顽力,但也使磁粉微孔数量增多,比表面积增大,磁稳定性下降.
Acicular α-Femagnetic recording powder was prepared by first dehydrating silicon-coated α-FeOOH and then reducing it in hydrogen atmosphere. The effects of silicon on themagnetic property were carefully investigated by analyzing the structure, composition andmorphology of particles. Results show that the coercivity ofα-Fe powder was enhanced with increasing shape anisotropyand reducing crystallite size after coating silicon. However, thesintering ofmicropores and crystallization in the silicon-coatedα-Fe particle were suppressed and the specific surface area wasincreased significantly. Themagnetic property of this highly porousα-Fe particles deteriorated in humid ambiance. It is suggestedthat the content of silicon should be lower than 1 %.
