摘要
金属硫蛋白(MT)是一类广泛存在于生物界的金属结合蛋白,因其功能独特,近年来对MT的研究日益受到重视。对MT的分子结构、性质、参与体内微量元素代谢、解除重金属的毒性、清除体内自由基、抗氧化损伤、防止机体衰老、应激能力等生物学功能进行了阐述,并对MT与肿瘤和其它疾病的关系等方面的研究进行了综述,并提出了MT研究中存在的问题及展望。
Metallothionein is a kind of metal binding proteins that widely exist in the whole biosphere. The study about MT is valued in all field in recent yeas because its function is unique. This article mainly discusses the molecular structure of MT and its unique feature and its biology functions such as participating in vivo trace dement metabolism and relieveing toxicity of the heavy metal, eliminateing free radical in vivo, anti- oxidized damage, preventing the organism senile function, adaptive capacity , and so on.The relations between MT and tumor and other diseases is also sumed up. And the questions that exist in the investgations is proposed and the future is forecasted.
