The English Edition of AMS is a window through which foreign meteorologists could see the important findings and latest advances of atmospheric sciences in China, and it has become an international academic journal on atmospheric sciences. From 20057 the Editorial Office of AMS has altered from China Meteorological Press into Chinese Meteorological Society. AMS is intended to provide a base for reinforcing the international exchange of scientific ideas and thoughts between Chinese and foreign meteorologists.
