Detection of Vehicle Symmetry Center Based on Machine Vision

摘要 介绍了一种基于车辆和背景的特征、灰度值、轮廓及对称性等的目标检测定位及对称中心确定的方法.提出了一种新的对称性检测算法.该算法具有简单、可靠的特点.并进行了实验验证.实验统计结果表明:该对称性检测算法能有效地检测出目标车辆的中心位置. This paper introduces a detection method for target positioning and symmetry center based on the features, the grayseale, the outline edge and the symmetry of the vehicles and settings, puts forward a new simple and effective symmetry detection method, and demonstrates it with experiments. The experimental resuits show that the technique can effectively locate the center of moving vehicles.
