40只1日龄番鸭随机分成4组,以玉米—豆饼为基础日粮。以2个钙水平(0.75%,1.86%)和2个锰水平(35,160ppm)进行2×2双因子试验,结果表明,9周龄时番鸭平均体重和日增重都以Ⅲ组(常钙高锰)为最高,其次是Ⅳ组(高钙高锰),组织矿物元素测定表明,羽毛含锰量可用于缺锰症的早期诊断。
Fourty day-old female muscovy ducklings were used in the experiment.They were equally divided into 4 groups and fed diets based on corn-soybean meal.Dietary Ca levels were adjusted to 0.75% and 1.80%,while Mn levels were adjusted to 35 ppm and 160 ppm,i.e.the experiment was designed as 2×2 factorials.The results show that the group Ⅲ with diet of normal Ca/high Mn had both the highest average final body weight and daily weight gain,and group Ⅳ with diet of high Ca/high Mn as the next best;the diets con- taining 35 ppm Mn had apparently depressed growth rate and actually induced some deficien- cy symptoms.From chemical analyses,it was found that the determination of Mn content in feather would provide a simple,convenient and reliable method for early diagnosis on Mn deficiency.
