多恢５７是利用“多系育种”方法育成的１个中籼迟熟、抗病、优质恢复系。介绍了其选育经过。
Duohui 57, an indica restorer with fine grain quality and good blast resistance in rice, was developed by the Rice and Sorghum Research Institute of Sichuan Academy of Agricultural Sciences from the cross of restorers Minghui 63 (as the female and backcross parent) and disease resistant line N127-N4617 (as the male parent). Compared with Minghui 63, it is similar in maturity and restoring capacity, but has a great improvement in rice blast resistance and grain quality. The Duohui 57 hybrids showed strong heterosis, good grain quality, strong rice blast resistance in various trials and productional demonstrations. Ⅱ Youduo 57 (Ⅱ 32A/Duohui 57), examined and approved for release in Sichuan Province in 1996, has a yield advantage of 5% over the ckeck Shanyou 63, and has been grown under an area of 7 000 hectares in Sichuan Province up to 1996.
