摘要
依据张德禄的衔接理论,以《达罗维夫人》的语篇外衔接方式的分析为例证,可以得出以下结论:时间和事件具有语篇外衔接功能。其中,时间可以统领整个语篇的宏观结构,衔接人物的意识转换、现实和回忆;事件在衔接人物意识和反映不同主题方面可以发挥独特的作用。
Based on Zhang De -lu＇ s study of cohesion, and the analysis of meaning that connects the text ＂Mrs. Dalloway＂ with the situation, the article points out that time and events are two important cohesive devices that have external cohesion. Specifically, time can guide the whole structure of the text, connect stream of consciousness of different characters and distinguish recollection from reality while conveying the theme of the text. And events also play some role in connecting the characters＇ consciousness and showing different themes.
