摘要
外语教学中的文化教学是近年来一个热点话题。通过圣诞节这一典型的知识文化点,讨论如何在高校英语专业《基础英语》教学中进行文化教学,探讨其具体可操作性。文化教学应充分结合考虑各门课程的特点分阶段连贯地进行,否则会劳而无功。
Culture teaching, whose significance has been widely recognized, has gained much popularity in recent years. The paper discusses the application of culture teaching in certain course in college by taking the teaching process of a cultural language point - Christmas in Comprehensive English class as an example. It draws a conclusion that culture teaching is applicable and effective only if it is carried on step by step under a carefully designed plan and made an integral part of every course.
