This paper discusses the performance adjustment technology of ORACLE under the Client/Server environment from the practical point of view. It illustrates the division of different type of processing tasks, the reduction of network traffic, the decreasing of application processing requirement on Client and the full use of ORACLE7 new characferistics, etc.
