摘要
根据传统WEB页面的一些缺点,如扩展性差、界面欠美观等,分析可扩展用户界面语言(XUL)的机制。对比了XUL和传统网页动态界面的异同,采用XUL技术用户既可以完成传统的界面开发,还可以根据用户需要定制自己的浏览器界面。介绍了XUL的工作机制以及相关的文件配置方法,并结合实例分析介绍了采用XUL创建用户扩展的方法和机制。从XUL语言机制和实例可以看出,XUL通过标记语言编写,克服了传统WEB的缺点,可快速定制用户界面。
According to the deficiency of traditional WEB page, such as poor extention, page is not beautiful and so on, analyzed the mechanism of XUL（xml- based user interface language）. Concluded and indicaded to the difference of traditional WEB page and XUL. The eonclusion is that using XUL user not only develog common WEB page, but also extend some functuons of browser or plat beautiful interface of application. With an example, the paper introduced the method and mechanism of hrowser extension that user＇s demand. From rhe example and language mechanism of XUL, the conclusion is that using markup language, user can develop applicarion interface quickly and markup language is written easily.
