Application of Combined Boundary Element Characteristics Method to Internal Combustion Engine Exhaust Noise Prediction and Muffler Performance Analysis

摘要 本文提出了一种有效预报内燃机排气噪声的新方法。在此方法中,使用边界元法计算消声器元件的4极参数并结合传递矩阵法获得整个排气系统的4极参数,以及使用特征线法计算内燃机的不稳定流动过程并依靠双负载法确定发动机的声源阻抗和强度,从而实现内燃机排气噪声预报及消声器声学性能分析。文中对一台柴油机排气消声系统进行了研究。 A new effective method is presented for predicting exhaust noise of an internal combustion engine, in which the overall four pole parameters of exhaust system were obtained by means of combination of evaluation of four pole parameters of muffler element by using BEM with transfer matrix method, and the acoustic source impedance and strength of engine were determined by means of combination of unsteady flow analysis by the characterstics method with two load method. Therefore the prediction of exhaust noise and analysis of acoustic performance of muffler of an internal combustion engine were achieved. An exhaust muffler system of a diesel was studied, the preticted results were in good agreement with the measured ones.
