The middle Triassic sandy and muddy rhythmic detrital deposits in Luodian area,Guizhou province was believed to be turbidites according to previous researches.On the basis of the discoveries of Hummocky cross-stratification, U-shaped burrow,wave ripple in the upper-middle of mid-Triassic, it is obvious that there exists storm deposits in Luodian area. It is the result of tectonic uplift of flysch basin.
