The article discusses the application of the USB technology and the software environment of Lab VIEW in the design of virtual instrument. The virtual instrument system consists of the hardware board and the software developing platform. In the article, the detail of the system structure and function is presented. This system takes full advantage of USB2.0 protocol , and supplyies a flexible and efficient software interface to set up new virtual instrument practically.
