摘要
通过对2002年我国31个省市自治区高等教育规模的省际比较,及其与经济发展的回归分析,表明高等教育规模与经济发展,特别是与城市化具有较强的正相关性,说明了高等教育规模应该与社会经济,特别是与城市化的进程相互促进,相互协调,共同发展。但由于我国二元体制的长期存在,二者的发展进程充满了阻力。
The comparison of higher education size in China＇s 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in 2002 and the regression analysis of their economic development show that the size of the higher education has strong positive relevance with economic development, particularly with urbanization. So it should be linked to and coordinated with social and economic development, especially urbanization process. But as the long-standing binary system exists, the development process faces frequent resistance.
