摘要
对小杂粮应从3个方面理解,一是“小”字,二是“杂”字,三是“区域性”。“小”主要指面积小、产量低;“杂”是因为种类多、但因规模小而无法独立成体系;“区域性”是指“小”与“杂”是相对的,在一个地方“小”,但换个地方可能就不一定“小”了。山西的小杂粮应包括荞麦(甜荞、苦荞)、燕麦、糜子、绿豆、小豆、豌豆、蚕豆、芸豆、豇豆、小扁豆、黑豆等11种,面积不足20万hm2。小杂粮的“小”决定了它虽在农民增收中有一定的作用,但在山西不具有战略地位;由于它的保健功能,又使其在保健食品中占有重要地位。
Non - staple cereals mean the cereals which are not included in main field crops. Non - staple cereals are usually cultivated in small size area and in low yield. Non - staple cereals are in plenty of sorts but hard to be classified limited by small size area cultivation. Besides they are cultivated in some special areas. In Shanxi 11 kinds non - staple cereals are cultivated in an area near 20 hm^2. Namely, they are buckwheat (sweet buckwheat and tatary buckwheat), oat, broom corn millet, mong bean,adzuki bean,pea,kidney bean,brood bean,cowpea,lentil and black bean. Non -staple cereals play an role to improve farmers'income,but its importance is quite limited in Shanxi. Due to the health - keeping function of those non - staple cereals, they show great importance in health food.
