In view of the reality that the disputes in the hotels in china are increasing while the gaps in the relevant statutes for hotels are yet to be filled, the author probes into the necessity of formulating hotel statutes in China. The essay analyzes the pecularities of the legal relations in hotels, pointing out that by consulting the hotel statutes of many countries in the world, we should regulate the legal relations in our hotels and clarify the relation between hotels and the tourists in terms of their responsibilities, rights and interests, so as to better protect the interests of the tourists.
