摘要
本文报道了用冷冻蚀刻电镜技术对鸡小肠上皮细胞及内皮细胞紧密连接几何形状观察的结果。除在上皮细胞顶端、微绒毛的基部由索条构成各种形状的网纹紧密连接带外,有的索条向纵深伸出形成稀疏的网纹几乎布满整个上皮细胞的侧面。还发现在冷冻状态下,当断裂发生于紧密连接的索条时,劈裂的界线大都沿着紧密连接的索条发生。血管内皮细胞紧密连接的几何形状及蛋白质颗粒的排列方式都与上皮细胞紧密连接有明显的区别。作者结合生理功能作了讨论。
The geometry of the tight junction networks linking the epithelial and endothelial cells of the small intestine of Gallus domestica was observed using freeze-etching techniques. A tight junction zone composed of meshes of various shapes can be found in the apical region of the epithelial cells and in the basal region of microvilli. Some strands extend widely and deeply tO form loosely woven networks that cover almost the entire lateral surface of the epithalial cells. It is also found that most of the lines of fracture caused by freezing coincide with the strands. The tight junction network of the endothelial celts differs distinctly from that of the epithelial cells in geometrical organization and in arrangement of proteins. The physiological properties of the tight junctions are pre preliminarily disscussed.
