本文对草蛉科(Chsysopidae)玛草蛉属Mallada做了修正,并建立一新属——纳草蛉属Navasius gen. nov. 同时报道了纳草蛉属6新种:槽纳草蛉N. alviolatus sp. nov. 钩纳草蛉N. ancistroideus sp. nov. 无斑纳草蛉N. epunctatus sp. nov. 曲纳草蛉N. flexuosus sp. nov. 海南纳草蛉N. hainanus sp. nov. 及和纳草蛉N. hesperus sp. nov.。
In this paper, we have revised the genus Mallada, established and described the new genus Navasius. 15 species recognised in the new genus from China, 6 of which are described as new to science. One species placed earlier in Mallada are allocated to Navasius. 9 type specimens are preserved in the Insect Collection of the Beijing Agricultural University.Navasius gen. nov.Type species: Navasius eumorphus (Yang et Yang 1990)Medium-sized species, head yellowish green, usually with brownish spots on gena andclypeus. Antennae slender, longer or as long as the forewing, some shorter. Wing venation similar to that of the Mallada. Sternites 8 and 9 fused, without any projection on the apex of sternite 9. Ectoprocts rounded, tignum, gonarcus, entoprocessus and pseudopennis present, Middle of the gonarcus slender, straight or triangular. Pseudopenis large, flattened, forked or shorted stick. The female genitale are of the common Chrysopa type. The new genus is named in honor of Dr. Navas, R. P. L.1. Navasius aluiolatus sp. nov. (fig. 3)♀ Length of body 10.7 mm, of forewing 17.5 mm, hindwing 17.3 mm.Head yellowishbrown, with one black spot on each gena and each side of the clypeus. Antennae brown with scape yellow and pedical blackish. Prothorax yellow in the middle and brown at the margins. Wings hyaline with the longitudinal veins green. The crossveins with yellowishbrown haloes. The crossveins of Costal region in fore-, and hindwing black. Gradate veins green. Abdomen orange. The subgenitalia and spermatheca are shown in fig. 3(C-E).It is similar to N. makrana (Holzel), but it without any marking at the base of the wings.Holotype ♀, Jianfengling (18.7N, 108.8E), Hainan Province, 20-Ⅳ-1982.2. Navasius ancistroideus sp. nov. (fig. 4)♀ Length of body 10.8mm, of forewing 12.48mm, hindwing 11.3mm, Antennae 10.4mm.Head yellowish with one large black spot on each gena. Antennae yellowish brown. Pro-thorax yellow in the middle and light brown at the margins. Wings with the longitudinal veins green. Most of the crossveins dark. Apex of the abdomen, subgenitale and spermatheca are shown in fig. 4(B-E).It is similar to N. epunctatus sp. nov., but can be distinguished by the spot of head, the color of the gradate veins.Holotype ♀, Longrei, Ningming Co. (22.1N, 107.0E), Guangxi Zhuang Am. Region, 20-Ⅴ-1984.3. Navasius epunctatus sp. nov. (fig. 5) ♀ Lenth of body 8.8mm, of forewing 10.4mm, hindwing 10.2mm, antenna 12.8mm.Head orange, without any spot. Antennae brownish. Thorax with yellow longitudinal band on the dorsum, the lateral margins brown or green. Wings with longitudinal veins green, and most of the crossveins dark. In fore- and hindwing, outer gradate veins dark, the inners dark in middle and green at ends. Abdomen with dorsal yellow, and the subgenitale and spermatheca are shown in fig. 5(D-E).It is very similar to Mdlada Moris Schneider in genitalia, but can be distinguished by the external characters.Holotype ♀, Longrei, Ningming Co. (22.1N, 107.0E), Guangxi Zhuang Aut. Region, 23-Ⅴ-1984.4. Navasius flexuosus sp. nov. (fig. 6)♀ Length of body 10mm, of forewing 13.2mm, hindwing 11.5mm. .Head yellow, only with black spot on each gena. Antennae yellowish brown with the first and second segments yellow. Wings with most crossveins and gradate veins brown or black. Abdomen yellowish brown. The apex of the abdomen, subgenitale and spermatheca are shown in fig. 6(B-E).It is very similar to N. fujianus (Yang et Yang), but can be distinguished easily by the color of the wings veins.Holotype ♀, Hedong, Guangzhou (23.1N, 113.2E), Guangdong Prov.5. Navasius haiwnus sp. nov. (fig. 7)♂ Length of body 6.3 mm, of forewing 8.5 mm, hindwing 7.3 mm, Antennae 8.6 mm.Head yellow, one black spot on each gena and each side of the clypeus. Antennae yel-lowishbrown, with the first and second segments yellow. Thorax with yellow longitudinal band on the dorsurn.
