摘要
本文记述罗氏蚤属Rowleyella Lewis,1971一新种——怒江罗氏蚤R. nujiangensis sp. nov.。在新种记述之前,列表比较了罗氏蚤属与其近缘届的鉴别特征。
The genus Rowleyella Lewis, 1971 with its only species R. arborea Lewis, 1971 was described based on the specimens taken off Dremomys lokriah from Nepal. This paper deals with a new species R. nujingensis sp. nov. from Yunnan Province collected in 1985 and 1987, and it is recorded for the first time of the flea of Rowleyella from China.Rowleyella nujiangensis sp. nor. (figs. 1-12)Diagnosis. This new species is allied to R. arborea Lewis, 1971 but readily separable from the latter by the following characters: In male, 1) the movable process with its dorsal and ventral margin being nearly equal in width instead of ventral margin more wider than dorsal one; the size and arrangement of the 6 spiniform setae along its posterior and subposterior margin also different from that of the allied species; 2) the apex of immovable process only a little lower than antero-dorsal angle of movable process; 3) the manubrium straighter, its apex not uptrurned; 4) the apex of distal arm of St. IX being narrower and sharper; 5) the crochet of aedeagus distinctly different from that of the allied species; in female, 6) the basal part of st. Ⅶ being wider, hence its pre-dorsal angle more higher than spiracle of t. Ⅶ; 7) the dorsal margin of bulga of spermatheca strongly arched instead of flatten.Types: Holotype male, allotype female, paratype 1 female off Niviventer andersoni, para-types 2 females separately off Rattus eha and Ochotona forresti, collected in November, 1985; other paratypes 1 male, 2 females off Callosciurus quinquestriatus quinquestriatus, collected in November, 1987 from Mt. Gaoligong (elevation about 2400-2800m), Lushui County, Yunnan Province, China. Body length: male 2.0-2.3mm; female 2.2-2.6mm. All type specimens are deposited in the Research Institute of Epidemic of Yunnan Province.
