龟鳖类锥虫两新种(动体目:锥体科) 被引量:3

NOTES ON TWO SPECIES OF TRYPANOSOMA FROM CHINESE TURTLES (KINETOPLASTIDA: TRYPANOSOMATIDAE)

摘要 龟鳖类锥虫的研究,国内外均比较少。本文记述了在中华鳖和乌龟血液中发现的两新种,鳖锥虫和龟锥虫。这是国内首次对龟鳖类锥虫研究的报道。 The present paper reports two new species of the genus Trypanosoma from Chinese turtles collected from Wuhan City (30°59'-30°68'N,114°29'-114°35'E) of Hubei Province. All the type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Hydrobiology, Academia Sinica, Wuhan. The descriptions are given below:1. Trypanosoma trlonyxis sp. nov. (figs. 1-8)Host Trionyx sinensis.Location Blood.Locality Wuhan City, Hubei Province.Date May 2, 1985.The trypanosome is polymorphic.The slender form (figs. 1-5): Body with a slender and more pointed posterior end. It measures 45.90(44.25-46.92) μm by 5.10 (2.04-5.92)μm. The free flagellum is 15.30 (14.22-16.32) um. The cytoplasm is vacuolated with some volutin granules. PK = 5.61 (3.06-6.92) Mm, KN = 3.57(3.16-6.12) μm, PN = 9.18 (6.22-13.04) μm, AN = 2.42 (17.34-22.61) μm.PN/ AN = 0.43, PN/KN=2.57. B'=2.04(0.51-2.84)μm.The stumpy form (fig. 6): The body is thick and big. The posterior end is short and blunt. The body measures 41.31 (40.12-42.12) μm by 9.18(8.42-9.16) μm. The free flagellum is 11.22 (10.84-12.12) μm. The cytoplasm stains light blue with Giemsa's stain. PK=2.55 (1.92-2.84) μm, KN = 4.59(4.10-5.04) μm, PN = 7.14 (6.02-7.88) μm, AN = 22.95 (21.84-23.10) μm. PN/AN=0.31, PN/KN=1.56. B'=3.0(5(2.92-3.48) μm.In the blood smears, the slender forms are more in number than the others. Besides, there are a few epimastigotes (figs. 7-8), which measure 25.50(25.10-25.92) μm in the total length and 3.06 (2.92-3.42) μm in the width. The free flagellum is 7.14(6.84-7.61) μm.This new species closely resembles Trypanosoma chrysemidis Roudabush et Coatney, 1937 found in Chrysemys belli from American and Trypanosoma chelodinae Johnson, 1907 found in Chelodina longicollis from Australia. But the new species is shorter than T. chrysemidis and longer than T. chelodinae. The distance between the nucleus and the kinetoplast of the new species is only 1/2-1/4 of the other two species respectively. Furthermore, no polymorphism and epimastigotes exist in the later two species.2. Trypanosoma chinemydis sp.nov. (figs. 9-12) Host Chinemys reevesii Location Blood Locality Wuhan City, Hubei ProvinceDate May 18, 1984The trypanosome is polymorphic.The slender form (figs. 9-10): the body is thiqk and strong. The posterior end is short and blunt. The total length of the body is 48.45(47.10-48.92) um and the width is 7.14(6.82-7.50) um. The free flagellum is 13.26(12.50-13.76) μm. The cytoplasm stains deep blue with Giemsa's stain PK = 3.06(2.84-3.32) μm, KN = 4.08(3.62-4.50) μm, PN = 7.14 (6.46-7.82) μm, AN=27.05 (26.42-27.50) μm. PN/AN = 0.26, PN/KN=1.75. B'=2.04 (1.92-2.42) μm.The stumpy form (figs. 11-12): The body stains deep blue with Giemsa's stain. The posterior end is short and blunt. The nucleus is big and irregular, occupying the entire width of the body and situated at the middle of the body. The body measures 29.07(28.42-29.36) um by 6.63 (6.02-6.92)um. No free flagellum exists. PK = 3.06 (2.82-3.50) μm, KN = 9.18 (8.42-9.36) μm, PN = 12.24(11.24-12.86) μm, AN = 16.83(16.04-17.10) μm. PN/AN = 0.73, PN/ KN=1.33. B =3.06(2.76-3,24) μm.This new species is similar to Trypanosoma vittatae Robertson, 1908 found in Emyda vit-tata from Ceylon, but the latter is far longer than the new one and is monomorphic. There are many striations in the cytoplasm of T. vittatae. The relative situation of the nucleus and the ki-netoplast is different between them.
