摘要
本文记述了采自云南高黎贡山茸足蚤属的一新种——指形茸足蚤,新种Geusibia digitiforma sp. nov.。模式标本保存于云南流行病研究所。
Geusibia digitiforma sp. nov.This new species is related to G. minutiprominula Zhang et Liu, 1984 (including G. m. ningshanensis Zhang et Liu, 1984) and G. longihilla Zhang et Liu, 1984, but differs from the latter both species in the following characters: 1) pronotal comb usually with 22-23 spines in both sexes; in male: 2) the basal part of st. VIII behind a V-shaped internal sclerotic without a Y-shaped one, its apical margin with 17-20 flallened and lanceolate spines, instead of 9-14; 3) the postero-ventral projection of clasper being narrowen and thumb-like (hence the new flea is named); 4) the apical part of fixed of clasper being oblique truncate, not forming tooth-like; 5) the postero-ventral angle of movable process being rounded, and without sinus; 6) the ventral dilation of distal arm of st. IX broader and rounder, and with 8-11 small bristles and spines; 7) the antero-apical angle of crochet being round; in female: a sinus of posterior margin of st. VII deeper (about 2.2-3.3 times as deep as wide), its dorsal lobe longer and narrower than that of G. minutipronula and G. longihilla, the ventral lobe of st. VII like that of G. longihilla, but more wider than that of G. minutipronula; the bulga of spermatheca pail-like, and distinctly longer than that of above two species.Holotype ♂, allotype ♀, paratypes 29♂♂, 5♀♀, ex Ochotona forresti and Ochotona sp; other paratypes 2♂♂, ex Pitymys irene, collected from Mt. Gaoligongshan (27°69'N, 98°50'E. 2800-3800 m.), Gongshan County, Yunnan Province in October, 1985. Body length: ♂ 3.1-3.5mm.; ♀ 2.8-3.2mm.. All type specimens are kept in the Research Institute of Epidemic diseases of Yunnan Province.
