The paper describes in detail a ciaculating fluidized bed boiler with vortex sepera-tors, suitable for small and medium utility or industrial plants, especially for an output below 35 t/h. Such a 10 t/h fluidized bed boiler has been operating since 1988, with a combustion efficiency up to 97.09-98.58% and thermal efficiency 87.6% when combusting anthraite slack and slag mixed fuel with a heating value of Qdw = 1046-0465 kJ/ kg. The operating temperature characteristics of said boiler are presented as a finale.
