摘要
猕猴属国家Ⅱ级重点保护野生动物。经过对猕猴资源进行专项调查，结果表明，红河州共有140—143群、1992—2168只猕猴，分布于12个县市和自然保护区的101个点。保护区以外猕猴的数量较保护区内多。保护区内猕猴的保护状况较好，数量趋于稳定。保护区外猕猴数量呈下降趋势，必须采取措施加强保护。
Macaca mulatta is under state class II protected wild animal. The thematic investigation on Macaca mulatta resource indicates there are 1992-2168 individual Macaca mulatta, belonging to 140-143 groups, which distributes in 101 spots of nature reserve and 12 counties （cities）. The quantity of Macaca mulatta outside of the nature reserve is larger than that inside but it tends to decrease, which need to be protected further, while the quantity inside of the nature reserve tends to be stable and is under good protection.
