摘要
北京学的问世与其发展,离不开特定的环境。近20年来全国地方学热的蓬勃兴起,世界一些首都城市对自身研究的深入开展,城市化问题日益受到各国政府的关注,是北京学产生的背景;首都北京的建设发展与传统保护,城市功能结构调整与可持续发展等一系列现实问题的提出,既是北京学面对的课题任务,又成为了北京学发展的直接动力;专题研究的深入与基本理论研究的开展,成为北京学的现实基础。上述环境因素,使北京学的发展,逐步趋于自觉和成熟。
Beijing studies have come into being under a special circumstance. In the past twenty years, many local regional studies have sprung up all over the country, researches on capital cities around the world have been developed rapidly, and governments have been paying more and more attention to the problem of urbanization. This is the background of the coming into being of Beijing studies. The construction of the new city and the protection of its tradition, the adjusting of its urban functional structure and its sustainable development, are not only the questions for discussion, but also the immediate drive for the development of Beijing studies. Special topic researches and basic theoretical studies consolidate the base of Beijing studies and at the same time mature the studies into conscious activities.
