摘要
易切削黄铜具有良好的机械性能与物理性能,早已被广泛地应用于钟表、仪器仪表、无线电、电视机、制锁、制笔等工业领域之中.其中的 HPb60-2牌号则多用于手表机芯的夹板等零件,在国内已逐步替代含铜量较多、不适于热轧开坯的老牌号 HPb63-3.但 HPb60-2在高温下进行热轧开坯时对温度仍较敏感,研究证实,添加微量稀土元素铈(Ce)、镧(La)或其混合稀土(RE)后,高温延伸率δ值有显著提高,即热塑性得到明显改善.但此时切削性能如何?作者就此进行了试验研究.
Adding rare earth metals into leaded brasses,the hot plasticity of which is increased and the ductility at low temperature decreased.By means of scanning electron microscope and energy spectrum analyser,it has been observed that the grain Pb has entered into β phase.Repeated tests show that the maehinability of free cutting leaded brasses is improved with a slight am- ount of rare earth metals added,i.e.,tool life is extended;roughness of ma- chined surface is improved;chipbreaking is easier;cutting force,cutting tem- perature and chip deformation are decreased.
