摘要
Problem-oriented studies are of extreme importance in philosophical studies. There would be no philosophical explorations in the real sense of the term without them. However, more important than problem-oriented studies are the credos those who ask questions already have in their minds. People's credos shape their mode of thinking and this in turn frames the field where they fred problems, and determines the mode and direction of the questions they ask. In this sense, people who have never carefully reflected on their own credos and mode of thinking would be the last to find new problems and ask new questions. It is, therefore, important to make careful examinations of the mode of thinking where problems arise, as well as the credos that provide the foundation for these modes of thinking, rather than discussing problems and problem-oriented studies in general terms. As Wittgenstein pointed out, "if we clothe ourselves in a new form of expression, the old problems are discarded with the old garment.''1 This may be the best starting point for us to analyze the fields of aesthetics as a branch of philosophy.
