摘要
通过对DSpace系统框架和数据模型进行分析,发现系统的本地化开发工作主要涉及对中文语言的支持、对文件格式和元数据的扩展、工作流的定制和管理以及与其他系统或服务的集成等4方面的内容,并提出相应的解决思路。实践表明,DSpace不仅能较好地应用于中文机构仓储系统的构建,而且也具备较完善的仓储功能和相对灵活的扩展应用。
By analyzing the system architecture and data model of DSpace, the authors find out that there are four issues in localization to be resolved, such as the support to Chinese version, the extension of file formats and metadata, the formation and management of the workflow and the integration with other systems or services. The results reveal that DSpace is an effective tool for the construction of Chinese institutional repositories. Furthermore, DSpace has good repository functions and can be applied flexibly and extensively.
