摘要
和谐社会是指民主法治、公平正义、诚信友爱、充满活力、安定有序、人与自然和谐相处的社会。筹备和举办北京奥运会将会切实提高人民物质、精神文化生活水平,提高公民的民主法制意识,创建安定有序的社会秩序,倡导科学、文明、健康的生活方式,促进人全面、和谐的发展。和谐社会的目标是实现人自身、人与社会、人与自然的和谐发展,举办北京奥运会将对我国和谐社会的构建起到巨大的推进作用。
The harmonious society is featured with democratic rule of law, fairness and justice, energetic atmosphere, well-organized practice and harmonious coexistence of the human beings and the nature, Hosting the Beijing Olympic Games can improve the living condition of Chinese people and their awareness of democratic rule of law, establish well-organized society and promote the civilized and refined life. The goal of establishing the harmonious society is to realize the harmonious development of people themselves and between the human being and the society as well as between the human and the nature.
