摘要
生产的目的是为了消费,消费增长是社会生产发展的基本动力,没有消费的增长,生产的增长显得没有必要。消费社会的生产主要是满足人类无限增长的消费需求,这种消费的需求已经不是一般意义上的生存需求,而是一种符号需求,即消费的物品或服务代表着幸福、美好、个性、地位,等等。因此,消费社会的生产,除了满足人们基本生存需要的使用价值的生产外,更大程度上是一种符号价值的生产。
The ultimate purpose of production is to satisfy people's consumption, so the increase of consumption is the basic driving force of the development of social production the increase of consumption seems unnecessary without the increase of production. The production of the consumer society is mainly to meet people' s limitless consuming need, and this kind of consuming need is not the basic survival need but a sign need:the consuming goods or services represent happiness, personality, status, etc. Therefore, to a greater extent the production of tire consumer society is the production of sign value as well as the production of basic survival needs.
