The Content Analysis Method is a quantitative investigation method based on qualitative research. Its introduction has important significance to the development of Library and Information Science. This paper introduces the philosophy foundation, necessity, application steps, some important issues and application foreground of applying Content Analysis Method into Library and Information Science.
