摘要
本文简要地介绍了第一代图象编码的主要技术及其理论基础,较详细地分析了第一代图象编码技术存在的主要问题及难于继续发展下去的原因。扼要地介绍了第二代图象编码的有关技术,对第二代图象编码的内容及其发展方向作了较深入的探讨性的分析。
The principal image coding techniques of the first-generation and their theoretical bases were introduced briefly in this paper. Its weakness which limits image coding compression ratio was analyzed in detail.The contents and developing direction of the second-generation image coding technique were presented with relevant techniques described briefly.
