200~300N High Strength Synthetic Diamond and Its Application in Core Drilling

摘要 对付“打滑”地层,国内外均为难题,新研究的技术是:(1)用特殊的新构思,运用国内设备,压制出可批量供应的高强度金刚石,这种高强度金刚石可承受比目前高得多的钻压;(2)运用强力钻进的配套技术(大钻压、大泵量、中转速的新构思),用上述高强度金刚石制作钻头。从理论上分析了可行性,在实践中获得高效率的结果,最高达2114m/台月,很好地解决了“打滑”地层问题,是我国今后钻探的发展方向。 eight on bit (WOB) is one of the most important parameters in diamond drilling. WOB isrelated with the diamond grain size, strength and rock hardness. It must keep the bit cuttingthe rock, as well as prevent diamond from being crushed. Nowadays, one way to improve therate of penetration is properly increasing the WOB, and improve the strength of diamondgrains.Through a series research in the mechanism of diamond crystal growing, we have knownwell the pressure and speed in raising temperature, stepping - pressure, and time, syntheticpressure I time and temperature etc. in producing diamonds, and developing 200 ̄ 300N highstrength diamond in 26mm diameters reaction cavity, and obtaining more than 200N high gradediamond 2. 53 ̄2. 96 carart per time, which is up to advanced level in China.According to the mechanism of rock breakage and heat effect in diamond drilling, there area highest heating stress point for different rock, on this point, the rock can be broken the eastest. When [Pn] is between [pn]min and [pn]max, the penetration rate is up to higher and bit life islonger. At the same time, higher WOB, pumprate and medium rotation speed is needed. Usinghigh strength diamond SMD ̄SMD30 in grade, 45/50, 50/60, 60/70 mesh in size, for drillingformation 10 grade 4, 500MPa in hardness, the caulation WOB is:G= {P: 9MPa<P<43MPa }.Since 1986, we have used this higher WOB techniques, and have got a notable reaults inharder rock drilling. The rig. month efficiency have been up to 1,000m above, the highest was2, 114m. This achievement is obtained an excellent value in China and abroad, and we can saythat it is a good way to make the best possible use of diamond drilling by using high strength diamond bits and high WOB techniques in drilling practices. It will be an important developmenttrend in the future.
