Protective effects of cyproheptadine on cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury in rats

摘要 赛庚啶对大鼠脑缺血再灌注损伤的保护作用粱健1王美纳杨庆余2王菁3(西安医科大学基础医学院药理学教研室,西安710061)赛庚啶(cyproheptadine,Cyp)为一哌啶类化合物,具有抗组胺和抗5-羟色胺作用.近年来相继发现其有抗心律失常,抗休克... Acute cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury was produced by reversible middle artery occlusion without craniectomy in rats. Cyproheptadine (Cyp) 1.5 and 2 mg·kg -1 iv decreased the size of cerebral infarction after ischemia for 2 h followed by reperfusion for 3 h. Cyp (2 mg·kg -1 iv) improved brain electrical activity, increased the activity of superoxide dismutase, and decreased the content of malondialdehyde in brain. These results indicate that Cyp has protective effects against cerebral ischemia- reperfusion injury, probably through inhibiting free radical and subsequent lipid peroxidation.
