摘要
公共交通的乘客人数统计是衡量运输部门效率的一个关键标准,它也是运输服务部门制定计划、安排行程和进行预测的重要依据。为了提高公共交通乘客人数统计的准确性,介绍了使用红外传感器的自动乘客计数方法的原理和结构,该方法精度高、成本低。同时采用神经网络算法进行模式识别,试验统计结果表明,其准确率达97%。由于红外乘客计数方法具有安全且非接触性等特点,可应用在商场、体育馆等众多场所。
To the problem of making plans, arranging schedules and forecasting for transit agency, the principles and system structure of automatic passenger counting using infrared sensors are introduced. It is a high precision method with low cost. Statistics result shows the accuracy reaches 97% with the using of neural network to conduct the pattern recognition. The infrared sensor method is newly introduced, and widely used in public places for its non-contract character, such as stores, stadiums.
